Nice addition, I think this will be very helpful in making this forum grow.  Social bookmarks are a great way to get the word out about your site.

I think Marshall has the best sounding and most reliable amps.  I would no use any other for my music!

My favorite guitar is a Gibson Les Paul - This is a very clean sounding guitar with a great tone. Easy to play and sounds amazing!

I like to use different delays and loops while practicing guitar.  I will first lay down a basic riff, then practice and improvise on top of that and add more layers.  This is a great effect and can be utilized while practicing and performing alike.

I play banjo, percussion and bass as well as guitar.  I think it is always a good idea to learn as many different instruments and techniques that you can.

I was wondering what practice exercises you use to work on finger speed?  I have methods using a guitar, and free hand, but was wondering what practices and finger exercises you do to increase your speed?

I am trying to master a new song, but can't build up the right finger speed quite yet.

Hello Everyone  default/smile

My name is Nick and I have been playing the guitar for over 7 years now.  I write songs and play around locally, but I am looking to expand and branch out more.

Anyway, thanks for having me, and I hope to chat with a lot of you soon. Thanks  default/wink

One problem I always have when trying to write a new song is, should I develop and create the lyrics or music first?  I usually end up creating the song first, and add the lyrics later.  What do you do when getting ready to write a new song?
