it's not?
then can you elaborate  the differences?
Amajor;
A,   B,  C#,  D,  E,  F#, G#, A
do  re  mi    fa  so  la    ti   do

that's what i've been tought.
as for my experiment done, maybe it's true.
classical use nylon string that's not suitable for bending.
even if you bend it,  you won't get the bending effect as much as steel string. it's really hard to get even 1/2 notes bending sound.
why don't you figure it your own and comment here?

i do.
we played normally glam 70's and 80's , and neo-classical rock. only sometimes we play modern contemporary rock or new rock.
what makes our band unique is we had 2 shred guitarist so we often perform double lead and harmonics. we don't use the term lead guitarist or rythm guitarist as both of them equally matched. now we are looking for a keyboardist. it's seems to be really hard recruiting new member as only few could understand us... default/sad

back then in 1992, i bought my first rock album, Gun's N Roses "Use Your Illusion II". (blue color album) from there, i started to like rock more and more. Another influential album of mine is Black Sabbath "heaven and Hell" with Ronnie James Dio as their frontman that time.

i had similar guitar too..
bought it just about AUD 80.
although it's mainly for acoustic, the pickup is quite sensitive as well.
i used to plug it on my pc to do some recording.
really worth buying!

those guys in this industry actually connected i think.
ronnie james dio moved from Black Sabbath to Rainbow and then form his own band dio. Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Rainbow, Whitesnake all them are related to each other. but i think the most frequent member changed is Ozzy's Band.

Golden Compass last weekend.
it's good, especially for the animation work.
but like other serial movie or trilogy the ending was pathetic.
hang up just like that... and seems quite rushing to end up the movie.

at first, i seem to get blurred with this theory but after a while i got it.
it's major chords scale. I've learned it before by memorizing the pattern and by hearing as well (major do re mi). and now that i know it's called circle of fifth! thanx dude.

Sometime we should never rely on tabs in the internet, most of them are not accurate like what have you said. The idea is to get something just to get started and learn the songs be your self.

yupz! it never does, sometimes i need to take a part from a tab and combined it with another then i get a better accuracy. but there's few times that all the tabs for the song i want can't be used and i have to work on my own hardly.

my cheap semi- acoustic guitar can't do the full note bent.
either one will break, my string or my guitar neck!

last few years i've learned Amajor pentatonic.
the theory is to abandoned B and F notes while scaling then you get Pentatonic scale. the same theory applied for others. Example for Gmajor, A and D# notes was abolished. the simplest scale for Amajor pentatonic is E5,E8,A5,A7,D5,D7,G5,G7,B5,B8,E5,E8. Any correction?
or any other pentatonic pattern?

Have anyone heard of him?
some refer him as blues god...
it's been said that he used a very strange, unique technique that people can't even know wether he is sliding or bending.
unluckily there wasn't any video recorded at his show to be refered.
anymore facts about him? pls share here.

my first training is doing 1234 chromatic from the 6th string goes down and climbs up by 4321 to the 6th string again. the pattern goes on 2345... 3456.... until the last fretboard you can do( normally 15th fret). then do it reversely until you reach the 1st fret. it really helps me a lot in precision and fingering!

I had a band, and normally we play glam 70's and 80's rock.
we had even perform the final countdown and highway star double lead (because we dont have any keyboardist). but we find it hard to play goo goo dolls song exactly. i dont know what kind of tune they use. some said they dont use standard E tune or of drop any. they just had their own tune. any help here?

normally, i used cool edit pro. a very good software for recording.
multi waveforms, effects, filter, and many more functions in there.

The Next band is E

other than guitars, i play drums and harmonica and now i'm figuring on how to learn keyboard but yet, i'm still a vocalist... default/sad

most of my friends did by playing the chords first then the rest drums, lead and bass follows.
but for me, i start with solo tone melody alone(like human voice), then i figure out how to expand it.

luckily, i havent experienced an injuries because of not warming up.
but when i don't, especially when not playing for a long time, i can't scretch my finger as far as i used to and the sound is not clean.
So, i did warmed up before playing at least for 15 minutes.
and good song for after warm-up?
try Romanza. if you can play this damn clean after warm up then go ahead, you're ready!

my bad habbits?
it's stranged... i like soloing very much till i don't focus on chording.
i can play some quite fast solos, flamenco and classical but when comes to changing few chords rapidly as deep purple's songs... i can't give the clean sound...

i do understand the technique of bending. it could be half tone or full tone.
but all this while, what is the different between bending few times rapidly and vibrato terms in classical? instead of bending your finger up and down, vibrato moves it back and forward rapidly on the same note. the soound is almost the same but i've learned that bending is not allowed in classical.

Michael Angelo and Malmsteen is very fast..
but when mentiong about the fastest guitar player, there's only one name running in my head that is flamenco guitarist, Paco De Lucia.
with his bare hand, he able to play 32bit tempo complicated song clean and clear, without missing a single notes! i can't see his fingers moving when playing.
