Hi Everyone

My name is Kevin, im 25 years old from Scotland.

I bought my first guitar today and very keen to learn, I have been watching my introduction to guitar world disc that I got with my pack, just tuned the guitar in after some newbie problems

My music interests are

Dylan, Hendrix, beatles, oasis, clapton, mark joseph, cast, ocs, weller and so on and on.

Im pretty much a rock/indie kinda guy

Anyway you may hear alot from me being a newbie and seeking help and advice so I would like to thank you in advance

Hi Guys

I would like to apologise if this question maybe a bit stupid or asked previously but im a bit confused

I bought a starter acoustic pack today and included in the pack came an electronic tuner, 2 red lights and a green, pretty simple.

When I pick the individual strings and adjust the tuning until the green light comes on that is fine, but I notice that when I do pick the string it is coming up on the letter and number "3G" no matter what string I hit.

I have the Fender BC - 850 Tuner.

Is it ok as long as I have the green light or does that mean that the string is tuned to a G note?

Its ok, I figured it out.
