that aint so bad lol....i started wantin to play abit late in life i think i started when i was 19/20ish. i love my music and i had  seen gilby clarke on some late tv programme do a little riff and i was blown away like.
so next night at my mates he had a 12 string acoustic in his living room and i asked him to teach me something he taught me C Am F G chords he said give yaself a week to learn them and put them tgetha by the end of the nite i had mastered those chords i was well chuffed and the rest is history they say lol

yea i think many self taught players abandon pinky development...i do feel its a massive thing you need to learn for lead guitar...i ten to do major scales up n down the fretboard to give my pinky some action

hey guys was jus wonderin why yas decided to pick the guitar up i love hearin peoples stories about why they did....swampy

hey been playin guitar for about 2 year now id say i was average but swayin towards beginner rather that advanced.  i always promise il play on it for 30 mins tonight but never happens because of my job which is physically tiring and im shattered when i get.  but when i play on it i feel like im in heaven its a thing im meant to do....so my question is to you guys is.... do you recommend that the RGT grade books will aid my playin/learning because i need to get to grips with the theory of it?
also i practice my scales alot when i pick it up but it feels like im bein boring wen i constantly go up and down the fret board doing my major scales...surely constantly practising one thing is going to make me better aint it?  thanx guys
