Topic: trying to improve my video/audio production

Hello everyone,

I have been for some time recording and uploading videos for youtube, and now i think i will put a little bit of my time after production.

I was using my old mobile for both, backtracking and my own guitar (video included). Now basically i upload the original track into an audio editor and on the other hand i take my guitar audio track into my mobile and afterwards i edit using 100% L track/100% R second track.

I guess the main issue here (besides playing), is that trashy recording with my mobile, but i don't know how to do it other than conecting my guitar straight to the PC (which i don't want).

Well, getting straight to the point, i will introduce you some of my last recordings, and also you can check my old system.

Please, stress all your comments, reviews, opinions and so on....

The video is made using a Panasonic Lumix FZ28, up to 720p

Re: trying to improve my video/audio production

Why DON't you want to connect your guitar to your PC??

Reaper is a good DAW and free I would try that rather then your phone..it will give you deeper editing options......If you have the cash or know where to go on the internet Pro Tools 10 is even better and gives a cleaner recorded sound and now has video editing.....

You can get a good home studio set up and running for very little money these day's. The line six interface's are cheap and work very well plus there's plenty kicking about 2nd hand on E-Bay...

Recorded with Reaper using a Blackstar HT 20 Head's emulated output and more modeling effects then you can shack a stick at all sent to the computer via a Line Six UX2 Sound interface.........

Imagine if the words of Imagine ever came true.....

That's an idea James, getting straight to my PC. However i would like to get the sound of my gear equipment.

even if i connect via preamp --> pc, i would miss power amp and speakers sound, i wouldn't mind however use VST effects.

thanks for your reply

Re: trying to improve my video/audio production

i think you should get decent video editing software then record the music into your computr then sync up audio with camerea footage, then delete camera audio for best results, check out 1 of my vids here http://youtu.be/zp_l1qgiDP4
