Topic: using a guitar pick

Today I was playing  E E E E  A A  E E B7  A  E  B7


Strumming and I was concentrating on letting my thumb with the slight movement in the wrist play this, I realize that I usually always move my whole arm when strumming and what a difference the other way is.


Do you guys feel the same  default/smile

I guess it is just a more controlled sound playing this way. Strumming, for me, is always the whole arm moving but when I want to ring out or emphasise particular notes then it goes right back to playing using the the wrist more than anything!
