Keeping your artist branding consistent across platforms

Post by Daniel_uk »

One thing I’ve been working on lately is keeping my branding consistent across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. I used to post totally different styles of content on each platform, and I think it made my project feel a bit scattered.

Now I’m trying to keep the same color style, tone, and general vibe everywhere, even if the content itself is different. It seems to help with recognition, but I’m still figuring out how much consistency is too much. How do you balance keeping things recognizable without becoming repetitive?

Same here. One small playlist only gave me a few hundred streams, but I gained several long-term listeners who still engage with my releases months later. That never really happened with the larger lists.

For me, consistency in tone matters more than visuals. Even if the posts look different, people can recognize the personality behind them, and that builds a stronger connection over time.
