This offer has made me very nervous! But mostly I'm not sure I can justify paying the money even for a Mexican Strat considering I am quite a novice. Then I would need to buy an amp as well. It all adds up!! Atleast buying a squire doesn't outlay a load of dosh and not forgetting I have to pay for it all!!

OK. The Yamaha acoustic is being put away in its bag!

It's finally here. Fender Squire Affinity in Blue, 15w frontman amp. Effing delighted. Great sound, lovely action, chuffed. Already played it for about 3 hours and fingers just starting to get a bit sore now. As my wife has already said "thank goodness for headphones"!!

You have a good guitar there, Brilliant in fact for the money, I bought one for my eldest son, when they first came out, it was about £160 then, I was proper impressed, brilliant action, and sound, and the finish was perfect. will last forever and probably become collectable in the future. A good choice.

I have to go and be sociable now so will have to set the guitar down for a while!!

Spent most of my free time this weekend playing and having a ball. Trying out riffs to some of my fav songs. Most of them sound fine until you try to play along to the original version and find out thats its quite a bit out, but i'm working away at them.

Was back at the shop today getting the Squire set up!! Truss rod set, saddles lowered and a general once over, Brill, very pleased. Bought a new set of Ernie Balls and a set of guitar riff cards

I'd suggest an LTD ESP.

An M 50 for example would be nice, if you take it to a local shop for setup and to check intonation, afterwards. They tend to be solid guitars for the money, from the ground up. Add a Line 6 Spider IV 15, and you have a great beginners rig.

I like you instructor my 1st guitar was an esp mh 100 and it is nice.
