right then...get your gloves on...gibson turns out the best guitars ever ...my aim
is to have a les paul ( nice and gentle with modest curves ) ...give me a minute ..........................................................................I CANT SEE THE POINT OF (sorry )cubist type shapes for guitars
( or any other instrument for that matter ..unless its a chromatic rubic cube )
what would you think of the shape if it was a fender
round 1.....ding

It would just be crap then, but look at it....Fixed neck made and fitted to that Guitar..not just picked up as one of many and bolted in..........ooooooooo no i need a piece paper to tilt the neck a bit.
Then Lets do a swimming pool route... we lose sustain by removing wood but hey ho its cheaper.....
Now lets start making Fender in China, labors cheaper and less skilled.....but we can get away with it were Fender...
And with Fender been in China they can all wear NFL jerseys and we will spam the world.......
You seen anything on the bay that gets yer wallet flapping????

if its a genuine gibson its definitely not crap.........its just the shape
you 've got an sg ....its your best mate ...dont be a bigamist for something thats a lot older (??)
and isnt as sexy as what youve got now..................unless you can make an offer
then make a good profit on it...........well............

I get a hint its Telecaster

re issue ? if thats a re issue of a 1963 telecaster ...then theres a few lawsuits pending
my gits are ...vintage / fender strat / hayman / .....the vintage is great to play but looks horrible
the strat is great to play but is not a gibson and the hayman is just horrible but worth
a small fortune...i use the vintage when gigging with the fender as a backup ( string breakages )
but use the fender when recording because it has humbuckers
edit: the hayman has never been played in 40 years the frets are untouched
it is a 2020 so if anybody wants it please shout

How old is the strat....My mates got a 1964 Jazzmaster...Now thats a guitar....Quality,,, I have never seen an action so low... it does not suffer from fret buzz..Plus when strumming it still rings for ever...now that quality well crafted guitar....
I rewound him the bridge pick up and recharged the magnets as the original pick ups had an intermittent fault and gone very weak... It sounds great to me....

my strat is a black1990 japanese squire series...modded with a bridge humbucker
and flloyd...it has a custom earvana nut and an i-tune internal tuner
i fitted the humbucker to get rid of the noise when recording..all in all
its very user friendly with a low action..the flloyd is blocked so tuning is a doddle
and very accurate..it still isnt a gibson though
thanks for offering to buy me a gretch but it isnt a gibson
can i have the money towards a '225'
