What to buy?

HELP!! I'm so confused. What do I buy? Obviously the most important thing is my guitar, justnow an Epi SG-400, which i'd like to upgrade (lef paul 
). Now theres an ebony Standard, 60's neck going for £700, maybe a lil less which is too tempting for words! But what's going to help me more? Pedals? An upgrade from my cack, burst, only works on clean 10 watt amp?
