Hey everyone, I've been thinking about the importance of having creative input in a band. How much input do you expect when joining a band? Do you feel like it's important to feel like a real member rather than just a hired player?

I definitely agree that having creative input is crucial in feeling like a real member of the band. It's what sets you apart and makes the music unique.

As a blues musician, creative input is everything to me. The passion and soul that you put into your music really shines through when you have the freedom to contribute creatively.

In the metal scene, creative input is important for sure. It's all about pushing boundaries and experimenting with different sounds. I wouldn't want to be in a band where I couldn't contribute creatively.

As a seasoned studio pro, I've seen both sides of the coin. It's important to have creative input, but it's also crucial to have a balance and respect for everyone's ideas in the band. Collaboration is key.

I've been in a few bands where creative input was limited, and it definitely felt more like being a hired player. It's important for everyone to have a say in the music to feel like a real member of the band.

I've always felt that being able to contribute creatively is what makes being in a band so special. It's about working together to create something that you're all proud of.
