Every songwriter hits a creative wall sometimes. What helps you break through songwriting block?

Changing instruments or tuning helps refresh creativity.

I step away from writing for a few days and come back later.

Listening to new music often sparks ideas for me.

Songwriting block is a common one for me. I love to try and write music but sometimes I go for week or even months where nothing seems to flow for me.

Often times it comes back in the most random of ways and all of a sudden I am inspired to write once again. I can't quite work out what triggers it either way though!
