Do you think we have finally got to the point that digital is as good as analogue?

For recording, digital rigs are incredibly convenient and sound very convincing. Being able to change tones instantly is a massive advantage.

I still prefer real amps for playing feel, but digital gear is improving every year. For silent practice and home recording, digital setups are very hard to beat.

I don’t believe the immediacy of a responsive valve amp will ever be equalled by a digitally-interfacing product.

I must also stress the importance of the speaker resonating the guitar - so it becomes a living, breathing thing in your hands.
