More annoying is that I've been a drummer for over 20 years, and I'm constantly hearing rhythms and tapping them out with whatever part of my body feels like being involved. Often it's my teeth. Apparently this is a relatively common occurrence with drummers, but it doesn't make it any less annoying.

I am an amateur musician, so I play at home and once a week or so at open mics. For some years now I've noticed that I always have some song playing in my head. I don't mean often, or usually, I mean every waking moment, and even sometime in my sleep. Is that unusual?

I am dealing with tinnitus and I also get songs in my head as well… gets pretty tiring sometimes.

Yep. Many times they're songs that don't exist, which is simultaneously annoying and kind of a nice source of songwriting inspiration.

Since as long as I can remember. I don't know what I'd do without it.

Constantly and it gets very irritating. A lot of the time I end up singing the song or tune too although, if it's original (or I think it is) I'll record it. Pros and cons I suppose?

Sometimes it feels like I have multiple songs playing in my head at the same time.
