Choosing the Right Guitar for My Style

Hey everyone,
I’m in a bit of a pickle and could really use your advice. I’ve been playing for a few years now, mostly rock and some blues, but I feel like my current guitar isn’t quite cutting it for my sound. I’ve been eyeing a few different models, but I’m not sure how to pick one that truly fits my style.
My current setup is a standard Strat, and while it’s great, I find myself wanting something with a bit more warmth and depth for those bluesy licks I love to play. I’m considering something like a Les Paul or even a semi-hollow body, but I’m worried about how the change in pickups and body shape might affect my playing.
How do you all go about matching your guitar to your personal style? Do you have any tips on what features to look for or how to test them out? Any experiences you can share would be super helpful. Cheers!
