Effects Chains for Different Genres - What's Your Setup?

Hey everyone,
I’ve been experimenting with my pedalboard lately and I'm wondering how you guys approach setting up your effects chains for different genres. I mainly play rock, but I'm starting to get into blues and a bit of metal as well.
I’ve noticed that my usual overdrive and delay work well for rock, but they just don’t seem to cut it for blues or metal. Any tips on what specific effects to prioritise for these styles?
Also, how do you typically arrange your pedals? Does the order of effects really make a difference for the sound you're going for?
