Hey everyone, I'm at a bit of a crossroads with a song I’ve been working on. I want to incorporate some advanced chord progressions to give it more depth, but I’m struggling to figure out which ones to use. I'm mostly playing rock and a bit of folk, and I’ve been experimenting with some jazz-influenced chords, but they usually end up sounding a bit clunky.

I’m curious about what progressions you all find effective when you’re writing. Do you have any go-to progressions that really elevate your songs? Also, how do you go about using them in context? Any tips on transitioning smoothly between chords would be great too. Cheers!
