I've got albums , but no turntable. Been looking at used ones at the recycle shop for a couple of years, but they seem to cost more used than they did new. Hope some day I'll find one. Some of my albums are over 50 years old.

My wife's cousin has a rather nifty gadget which is a sort of joint turntable and CD player which allows you to take your old records and put them on CD.
I guess there is something kind of cool though about the idea of chilling out with the record player going in the background.

To me, records sound better than a CD.

Turntables are seeing a revival lately. Quite a few under a $100 US on Amazon, and others for not much more. Seems worth it if you have a large collection.

Surely there must be a record player for sale somewhere in Japan!
I just hope prices aren't in any way comparable tothose of mushmellons, or even googogs for that matter.
