Stay tuned the build is back on, but the body has changed after I lost me temper and fixed the problem with the body with a chessel.

As some of you may know I have started to record some music with me pal.
We are both playing the same cords and change at the same time, yet his strumming appears to much clearer then mine.
Yet his recording pattern is much more defined then mine.
I can play the cords well and hit all the right strings, (most of the time). 
It isn't gear as we both are using my peavey vypyr him on a fender twin model and me on a vox. It can't be guitar, I am using Sally Ann, me Gibson SG, he is using a 79 Fender Telecaster.
Any Ideas.

Very well played although I can't help but think a guitar with a humbuker set would suit the songs you play better.
There is a big differance between single coil and humbuker.
