I looked at the peavey axe.. and it auto tune at work...The machine heads are just there for show....I think peaveys idea was the cheapest way to make an auto tune guitar was with software not hard ware.....As for t other one I like that Idea but my mate Trev Wilkinson has been touting his auto tune bridge for a few years know....

Why DON't you want to connect your guitar to your PC??
Reaper is a good DAW and free I would try that rather then your phone..it will give you deeper editing options......If you have the cash or know where to go on the internet Pro Tools 10 is even better and gives a cleaner recorded sound and now has video editing.....
You can get a good home studio set up and running for very little money these day's. The line six interface's are cheap and work very well plus there's plenty kicking about 2nd hand on E-Bay...
