i have a gloss finish guitar but i would really like a matt finish acoustic. they look really nice. ive been in my only guitar store near me (dawsons) and they have a couple of the one i want. but they seem to have nylon strings. would i be better off getting the guitar i want with nylon strings or trying to find an alternative with steel strings? any ideas are welcome. thanks.

I have been playing the acoustic for about 1 year now and i have had no lessons what so ever. i bought my own chord book and read music and started playing. i havent even thought about getting lessons. its hard starting off but you should get used to it.

yeh that might be the reason. but everytime i pick up my acoustic and strum a random chord. i let it ring in my ears and i love the sound. its just im not findin any rhythmic solo artists i can learn from. if you understand what i mean.

yeh ive been doing that also. its great to practice on but i want one wher i can perfect my music. yeh i will do . thanks mate

ok... i have a full size guitar. but mr fingers are a lil small to bar the chords and things like that. does anyone know if it matters if i step down a size to a 3/4 size acoustic. would it make the sound worse or. need advice please???
