I watched Hancock last night. 8/10.

Great storyline and personally I liked the idea behind the plot. The first 30 minutes are the best, it drags a tad during the middle and then picks up/shifts tone somewhat as it gets towards the culmination.

I wish I had seen Metallica in 1993! I would have been 7. default/big_smile

The best rock/metal gigs I've ever to has to be one of Rammstein (top notch live show), Iron Maiden at Twickenham, or for atmosphere one of the summer open air festivals regardless of bands playing! Absolutely immense.

Hmm, "There She Goes" by The La's, "Smells Like Teen Spirit" of Nirvana and the classic Smoke on the Water riff were the first tunes I ever learnt on guitar. Those were the days. default/yikes

I'm Rob, 20, from Derby in the UK.

I've been playing guitar for seven years, though during the past 18 months I haven't been motivated to play as much as I would like to. Joining this here forum with the hope of doing something about that!!!!

I play in a band (myspace.com/onirica) if you're interested! default/smile

I'm looking to learn the ways of other types of music and perhaps incorporate some influences into the music I write, a whole lot of music theory and generally improve my technique as a whole. If you guys can help with that it would be much appreciated. default/big_smile

I own a Jackson KV3 and an Ibanez S-1520 Prestige, of which I would recommend the latter for rock/metal style. Spiffing guitar.
