Sometime we should never rely on tabs in the internet, most of them are not accurate like what have you said. The idea is to get something just to get started and learn the songs be your self.

Do you suggest playing with your guitar everyday? I believe you need a lot of time and patience to practice and you should play because it is what you desire.

you will definitely need to play daily or else you won't get better.. a 30 minute of scale runs and chromatic exercise would work..

The truth is we still need to know music theory, yeah i think playing by ears and tabs will still sound great as long as you know your scales and chord progression but knowing note will greatly help with performing with other musicians.

what do you usually do when you play guitar? do you shred up instantly or warm up first? well common sense would say the try to run few times on scales first before engaging to much more rigorous ones. this way you will minimize the risk of finger sore. and some injuries..

If you ask me if you truly want to be a great guitarist and standout the most then, don't just consider it as a passion being a guitar player is a lifestyle it is a part of you. Or else you will just be a mediocre guitar player.

Yeah but most of the time i use the third and fourth fingers. this gives me more power and accuracy to the note i am trying to achieve.

It would depend on ny mood at the given day.. If i am feeling a bit edgy then i would pick a electric guitar and try to play some riffs and licks, but if i feel sentimental? then i would play a acoustic one.

One of the most basic(just for me i guess) and important technique to use in guitar playing. Try to use two finger when you do one, i see lots of newbies tries to bend with just one i tell it will never work and sound right. A couple of practice suing the pentatonic scale and it would get you fingers stronger.
