Brother James, I have meditated on this and enlightenment followed. The test lies in realising that the Big Man would never ask us to try and forgive those who listen to house music. It's like forgiving someone for buying an Alexandra Burke CD - it simply can't be done.

I trust all is well and you are enjoying fatherhood?
It's fantastic thanks! The wee man's coming along great, he's a handsome little guy, takes after his dad
He loves it when I play the guitar and sing to him! So he has great taste too.
How's things with you? Family all ok?

A "Hondo" acoustic. No idea how much it cost, my dad bought it for me. The year was 1990. I had glam rock wishes and heavy metal dreams.

Sorry guys, I've been very quiet of late but with the little guy around I don't get much of a chance to get on the internet and when I do, I go straight to Youporn to save time.

Re: first lesson (16 replies, posted in How to Start)
I suppose it's like anything - some people want to know the advanced stuff without knowing the basics. When I was younger a friend wouldn't leave me alone because he wanted me to show him how to play the intro to "sweet child o mine" - problem was he couldn't play at all and thought that he could just learn where to put his fingers and play a bit of GnR.

It's all good though. Am enjoying it but "tired" does not begin to describe how I'm feeling these days.
Your not still doing the house work are you????
