Flangers

To everyone that knows about these things...HELP!!
I am trying to buy a replacement flanger for my husband... he currently has a really old Pearl one. I need something similar...it isn't for anything wacky so I don't need it to have special effects, just similar to the old one, he plays a takamine.
Can anyone suggest what I should buy (ps I am NOT rich!!)

Well I use the Boss BF-2 Flanger which I find pretty decent - it's one of the older Jap models rather than the current Taiwan made type.

You can get these off of eBay.

I am not familiar with the model you mention so cannot say how it compares.
