I've been getting into a bit of DIY lately and thought about tackling some guitar repairs myself. I've got an old Strat that could use a bit of love, mainly a set-up and maybe even fixing a few dings. I’ve heard a lot of mixed stories from fellow guitarists about their experiences with DIY repairs. Some have had great success, while others had to take it to a pro after a botched job.
Has anyone here attempted their own repairs? What did you try and how did it turn out? I'm keen to hear both the wins and the cautionary tales before I dive in myself!
