Hey everyone,
I’ve got a Fender Strat that I’ve been playing for a few years now and I'm starting to feel like it could use a bit more character in its tone. I’ve heard so many different things about changing pickups—some say it’s a game changer, while others think it’s not worth the hassle.
I’m particularly curious about humbuckers vs. single coils, since I want to experiment with different sounds. Has anyone here made the switch from stock pickups to something else? What kind of differences did you notice in your playing or tone? I’m just a bit unsure if it’s worth the investment.
Cheers!

I think upgrading pickups can really change your tone for the better! I recently swapped out the stock ones in my Strat for some custom single coils, and they brought out a clarity I didn't know I was missing. That said, it does depend a lot on what sound you're after!
