Hey everyone, I’ve been tinkering with my guitar setup and I’m stuck on what the ideal string height should be for me. I play a mix of blues and rock, but I also love throwing in some bends and slides. Right now, my action feels a bit high, and it’s making those techniques a bit trickier.
I’ve read a few things online, but there’s so much conflicting advice, and I wonder if it varies that much from player to player. How do you guys determine what works best for your style? Do you go for a specific measurement or just adjust until it feels right? Also, any tips on balancing playability with tone would be really helpful. Cheers!
