Keeping Practice Sessions Fresh

Post by Newbie »

Hey everyone, I'm struggling a bit with keeping my practice sessions interesting lately. I typically work on scales and a few songs, but I feel like I'm hitting a wall. I want to learn new techniques or styles but I'm not sure how to incorporate them without it feeling like just another chore. How do you all mix things up in your routine? Any tips on exercises or approaches to keep it engaging? I'm open to trying anything really!

Sometimes it helps to set a theme for your practice session, like focusing on a specific style or artist you admire. You could also try improvising over backing tracks; it can really spark creativity and make practice feel less like a chore.
