What warm-ups do you guys do?

What do you guys usually do for warm-ups? Do you do scales, arpeggios? I should really start working on my scales and arpeggios to increase my skill.

Do you mean before a gig? Generally I don't do anything like that, just play for 15 mins....

However when i'm just at home noodling I do try and make myself change positions as much as possible, and use the whole neck if I can.

This may not be the best way to practise, but its what I do

Generally I stay calm for some minutes before playing. And sometimes even when the practice is not completed I try to take a hot coffee break.

is it necessary to play those warm ups to be able to be a good player of guitar. well i really don't know about those scales. well i think that most people do not do those things. but it is really better to do that though if you have time.
