Thinking of a new Guitar try Vintage.

Post by jamesd74 »

Both me and mate, and my mate knows his guitars, trust me, are knocked out by the quality and sound of the two vintage guitars I have just bought.

Second I rang the manufacture to speak to them about the necks because of my left hand and the helped me out to know end ( I had tried to ring a shop first and got the biggest idiot on the phone who said "I don't know".

Now the reason I am bowled over is they sell hundreds of guitars a week to shops not customers. They sent three guitars to a shop in Leeds www.scheerersmusic.co.uk ( one was the same guitar in two colours), this shop dose not sell guitars only orchestral instruments, for me to try, they already worked a price match to cheapest on internet and mark in service set them all up.

Anyhow, because the price was that good, and I was like a kid in sweet shop, I give the wife sloppy look and bought two.

The SG sounds great with just a touch of distortion. However, the LP on the neck pick up with a lot of distortion sounds very much like slash.

But it has to be the SG.
