Keep up the good work,
What's your estimated total cost of this build?
I didn't get where I am today,
by being somewhere else.

Think its about £275, most of the money as gone on having the neck custom built.

That's a hell of a lot of guitar, for that money,
And I'm sure it's going to sound sweet with the Wilkinsons,
I didn't get where I am today,
by being somewhere else.

This is a great thread James - I only imagine how cool it will be to have your own custom built guitar to play on!
It sure is going to be worth the effort judging by the pics.
I wouldn't really even know where to start with building my own!

Option 3...........
P/u's match better, and I like the pattern coming off the control plate,
I didn't get where I am today,
by being somewhere else.

I like 3 and 4 but I the extra design on the 3 will make it much more unique and original looking.

I think 3 is gonna win, but does anybody know if removing the pick up cover alters the sound?

With the new body and chrome parts about £450, but wait till you see the body.
