Mt first attempt at recording myself

Post by Apache »

here's part of Paranoid by Sabbath, used windows recorder which seems to have lost the tone a bit...

[mp3]/uploads/96770c32558b667d7a419919af0a0a69.mp3[/mp3]

I didn't play it all the way through as it is doesn't vary much..

Edited as just realised I should prob mention the gear....

ESP KH202
Spider IV 30 with Pocket POD on Metallica '86 tone...

Thanks :D

I've just downloaded a copy of audacity so I'll try and record through that next time, see if I get a better tone.

This is a good question: What is the best multitrack PC app for recording guitar? Gotta be cheap of course :)

Thanks - just had a look at mixcraft - looks good, although the downside is you have to buy it :-(

I'll see how I get on with audacity (free!) and if its a pain I'll try mixcraft instead.
