hi

Post by bicolormoth »

hi all, i'm new. i'm over 40 and its about time i nuckled down & learned to play the guitar. i need some advice on what guitar to buy to start learning PROPERLY on, as i have a beat up old Aria AW75 that hates my fingers (ouch!) and the sound is a little dull & buzzy.
I also have a Yamaha Pacifica 112 , which i never play as it stays in its case cos my missus won't let me leave it "set up", and its hardly worth getting it all out & setting it up for a few minutes plinking.
so i really think i would be better off with something acoustic, thats easier to play & has at least some quality about it, stays in tune etc , like my Aria does.
any ideas / advice welcome. see you in the forums.

Moth.

Hi Moth and welcome!

Any old guitar will do if you're just starting up! No need for anything fancy as long as it's decent.

What sort of music do you fancy playing?
