This sounds great - here is a great example of why I love the internet.  Online guitar lessons are a great way forward!

I will certainly check out this site!

Hi Don

This is the place just for that but this user did post in other sections also.

Olly

Hi and welcome

I don't mind you coming here to promote your site but do not spam the board or you will be banned. One post is (more than) enough.

Thanks

Good advice Iain - I agree.

Tuning pegs will make a big difference with your tuning issues!Once in tune you will probably find the sound it way better!

I'm a bit gutted actually as they have just announced Slash is joining the lineup on Saturday and I am only going Sunday! Would love to have seen him live!

Me too - TVs being thrown through the hotel window  - that is something that appeals more to me

Do you not tour at all at the moment? And what are your plans with your musical career going forward?

I know what you mean about the time - it is hard enough for me to find time to pick up my guitar at the moment! Nevermind anything else!

Being the dedicated up and coming guitar legend you are - have you considered getting both?

If you don't want to buy a copy of guitar pro, there is some freeware called Tux Guitar that can read guitar pro files, it isn't as powerful as the real guitar pro, but worth a look.

Hey thanks! I never heard of this before! - Looks good!

Have you played on an SG? If not, you should then you will know if it is right for you or not!

Yes just plug into the line in or mic socket - or get an audio interface if you're really up for it!

I assume you are going to record electric?

That is a really good review! Matias is very lucky that you trialled his product.

It is a nice sound you have there and certainly sounds like a professional recording!

How is your band progressing now?

What do you think about slash's new song beatiful dangerous with fergie?
I thought fergie sounds not too bad as a "rock chick" but her reputation as an rnb singer messes it all up.:/

Hey

I don't mind the song. I think she sounds ok bit like you say, her reputation does kind of mess it up a little! But on the music alone I think it is ok!

I'm easy! I'll have a beer with anyone!

But I guess one of the great guitarists out there would be pretty cool - Satch, Vai, Slash or even Danny Gill would be pretty cool to have a beer with!

I'm not sure what you would do with 440+ presets!

My only concern would be that you are governed by the quality of the onboard effects unit. So even with an external pedal, are you still being forced to run the sound input through an effects section that may suck tone, sound ultra digital etc.

By having a straight forward amp you have a solid tone to build upon!

I don't really have much of a basis for my opinion, but what is the difference between a modelling amp and an amp with an external modelling pedal?

Therefore my choice would always be an amp + effects as you are not restricted by what the modelling amp has installed, you are free to use what you like!
