They reckon Douglas Barder was an World War 2 spitfire ace because he had no legs. Therefore when he put the aeroplane in a high speed bank he did not black out. Meaning he stayed in control of the aeroplane which enabled him to get behind the Germans faster.

The blood, which in a normal full bodied spitfire pilot doing the same manoeuvre would rush to there legs causing a black out. This meant that they lost control of the plane for a few seconds which enabled the Germans to get out of the way as the German fighters where no match for the manoeuvrability of the spitfire.

Of course our man Douglas had no legs so the blood had no where to go meaning he stayed awake.

Never in the history of conflict as so much been owed by so many to so few.

I don't want fender I would love to build my own.

I found this body.

Anybody any suggestions.

Lift pint to mouth and down again to bar, its bloody hard work, but it keeps you fit?

You have to remember to swap arms or one will be bigger than other.

i hear ya.. i still have a ten yr old daughter at home and im a working single parent, so lots of my evening time was spent learning solo.
i think that because time as a 'band' is limited, when we get together we are set up and banging out a tune within quarter of an hour, making the most of our two hours.
it was easy to arrange and costs about 16 quid a month, bargain!

Respect, I was a single parent myself for two years its bloody hard work.

I read somewhere that Epiphones are made in the same factory in china as Ibanez. Also that Epiphone started out coping Les Paul, but Les Paul licensed them to try to make money, rather then going through a lengthy court battle oversees which they would probably lose. And i have read the same about Squire in regards to Fender.

The US would never win a copy right case in china.

I am in love with my ESP, that is good enough for me. Although a friend of mine has 16 fender jazz masters. Don't think he would have another guitar other then a jazz master.

When I asked the question I was thinking about banks and the recent reports in the news about how successful different banks are at answering complaints and it got me thinking, in many cases there is no profit motive for companies to satisfy customer complaints. So I wonder if there is legislation in place that forces companies to answer customer complaints.

There is no legislation in place regarding complaints. However, I would assume that complaints of a more serious nature are regulated by FSA regulations. These will be to over see that the financial organisation do not leave their ass's exposed, regarding money laundering and so forth.

I do have a question - are companies legally obliged to deal with customer complaints or are they within their rights to say "if you don't like it get lost"?

What is the nature of the complaint?????

I am currently studding for my LLB (law degree), so if any one as any small problems they would some advice on or any thing they would like to know, the implied contractual terms when buying items in a shop, or any injury or loss please let me know.

I do not practice Law but it will be good for me to research some problems other then the bog standard ones you get at university.

I can only research UK law and don't know anything regarding other country's.
